Hi,

You can try Alt + Tab.

That's switching from tab to tab. I'm asking if anyone knows the keyboard shortcut to go back and forth from 2 different windows I have open. Do you know how to do that by any chance?

Alt + Tab switches from one window to the next for me in Firefox 13, as it always has in Firefox. Maybe you have an addon installed which changed that action?

Do you have that problem when running in the Firefox SafeMode?

Don't select anything right now, just use "Continue in SafeMode."

If not, see this:

Windows doesn't have a way to only cycle through windows from a specific application like Mac has with Cmd + Tilde.
You can only cycle through all open windows via (Shift) Alt+Tab.

Maybe there is an add on. I will have to check that out. I sit there pressing "alt+tab" and it just moves each tab that is opened in the same window. Do you know the name of those possible addons?

You can also try the right Alt key. It is also possible that a Windows tweak or another application has changed the behavior. Firefox cannot change the Alt + Tab functionality and most probably legitimate add-ons also wouldn't change a functionality that goes beyond Firefox and affects the OS behavior. The Windows OS forum would also be helpful.
