Automatic update stopped it working and reinstall failed to cure problem.
I launched Mozilla Firefox early afternoon today, and before setting itself up, a box came up telling me it was installing updates and would start in a few moments. When it did start, all of the tabs came up blank and inoperative. The reload button was greyed out and didn't work, and also the back button was greyed out and inoperative. Initially, I closed Firefox, and the phantom Firefox that remained, and then reopened it, but it was still not working. So I then followed instructions on the Mozilla website.
First, I restarted my computer. Then I launched Firefox. It wanted to install updates again. Then it set itself up, but the tabs were still blan and inoperative, and the reload and back buttons were still inoperative. So I went through the Safe Start process. It was still the same.
So I followed instructions to uninstall, download, and install Firefox from scratch. It is still the same. It DOESN'T WORK.
Please can you send through an update that when installed makes it work again so that I can access everything?

Thanks Pkshadow. I had installed from scratch, following the link from the Mozilla website, and it didn't work. Having downloaded and installed from scratch again following your link, it now works, although it insisted upon saving into a very strange location - not the program folder, but a personal AppData folder! Will have to move it, so that it can be found easily.
Thanks again.
