How to update FF ESR 52.5.3 (32-bit) to the current standard 64-bit release (57.0.3) and not lose anything (e.g., bookmarks, history, add-ins, etc.)?

I'm currently running FireFox 52.5.3 (32-bit) on my personal home computers. I don't remember why but I think it was due to an add-in issue (e.g., incompatibility of existing add-in) with one of the FF updates at the time.

I am now thinking of upgrading to the most current standard release to take advantage of those improvements vs ESRs as well as utilize the fact that my Windows is 64-bit.

Will all my associated ESR data (e.g., bookmarks, history, add-ins, etc.) get migrated to the standard FF (which appears to be 57.0.3)? Do I need to backup the data and, if so, how is this most easily done? Is there a list of plug-in compatibility? (I just have a few such as ABP, FireFTP, LastPass, a few others)? Is there anything else I should know about switching from ESR to standard FF?

Thanks.

Firefox comes in two or more folders on all computers. They are;

Maintenance: (Programs Folder) <Windows Only> Firefox itself: (Programs Folder) And two folders in the profile of each user on the computer for each Firefox profile for that user.

If you remove the Firefox folder, the user profiles would not be affected.

Download the full installer from; Download Firefox For All languages And Systems {web link}

It will install on top of the current version.

The Firefox 52 ESR for Windows is available as 32-bit and 64-bit (if you have 2+ GB RAM and 64-bit Win7 or later).
