Why are some accounts hidden, and other appear ?
Ive installed Firebird for the first time the other day, and started adding my email accounts.... the first four went swimmingly, Then I created folders and setup a filter to move the emails into the individual folders... so far so good. I shut down the PC for dinner, and came back to add new accounts - the left pane (default layout) was showing INBOX and the folders I had created earlier, and new mail was delivered to each folder as planned - YAY
Then came my headaches, as I added new accounts - they appear above the folders (with a padlock?) and the whole thing now looks messy... I'm used to window live mail 2011 - and like the look of the individual accounts in the left pane, and mail delivered to each.
But now I have that PLUS new accounts are added to the pane - where as the original 4 were not - only their folders !!!!
What am I doing wrong here ? Ive tried a complete reinstall after deleting the profile, but it still does it.
Thanks Paul

On the toolbar > Folders > All.
That might cover it. If not speak up.

Many thanks Paul
Well what is the ISH, I did ask.
I have it 90% looking how Im used to ...
Is there a way to make the calendar pane (right hand vertical) to display EVENTS , rather than 5 days or so ?
Also, in Windows live mail, the DELETE, JUNK, FORWARD etc are all at the top of the page, rather than TBs top of the message pane...
And how do I configure the JUNK filter ? and maybe move them to a dedicated folder ?
It IS starting to "feel" more familiar though ;-)
Thanks again Paul

Here's where we are so far - calendar is linked to my google account.

right click the toolbar at the top and select customise... the only button that refuses to move there for me is reply to list (not a biggie for most folks)
Then go to the add-on manager On the toolbar then Type compact in the search box on the right and in the results locate the compact header add-on. Select install. This hides the mega email header in favor of a one or two line summary and in the process hides the secondary toolbar.
The "today pane I am afraid you will have to get used to. With it's three pane view of upcoming events.
You can set the today pane to show 4 weeks of events, and thet is probably all most people would ever want to see.
On the toolbar > Options > Calendar > General
While you are in options make sure the time zone is set correctly.
Note that I do not use the today pane. I favor the tasks and calendar tabs.
