Hi, my session with a lot of open tabs has been lost due to a crash. In the profile folder, the recovery and previous files in the sessionstore-backups have been deleted. I tried to recover them using shadow explorer, but these files are corrupted, so I've had no success reading them. Is there a way to fix the corrupted files? Alternatively, because I've had sync enabled for open tabs, is there a log for past open tab synchronizations? If this was stored on the cloud, it may be possible to retrieve that table and restore the list of open tabs that way?

I recently, was my own fault not protecting my visa card but got scammed, I chopped the card but yet somehow someone accessed my amazon account and tried purchasing something just the other day. I only use this laptop for amazon. My concern is how to stop people from getting access to this browser through shared wifi and the person got into this laptop through the smart tv in the part of shared accomodation. I matched the serial number of the device to the device that appeared in devices in my control panel which I never authorized to access my laptop. I dont allow any access to my "network" to anyone but somehow someone got access. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. And everytime I tether with my cell phone its alwys a new network that I get asked by microsoft if I want to allow discoverable which I dont, but I usually have 80 -100 networks due to every log in with teher and wifi booster. I just discovered that I am unable to login to my bank accounts using Firefox/Windows 10. I found that Chrome login worked normally, which makes me think something happened with a recent Firefox update. Description: The web page and login page appeared normally, but after entering the access code (obtained by text of email), and hitting the 'Submit' button, nothing happened. The screen does not change, it does not appear to be trying to load....noting except the 'Submit' button on the page changes color indicating that it has been submitted. Any help appreciated. I can use Chrome for now for this purpose, but Firefox has been my browser for many years and works will with my Password manager (LastPass), so I hope to get it working properly.

Description: Intermittent black or white blocks partially covering parts of the image, this problem disappears when you open the same webpage in troubleshoot mode. Steps to Reproduce: This problem I have is when i open an image inside a website I am subscribed too. It first occured about three weeks ago, I tried all the available cleaning tools cache etc to try to resolve this issue. As none of that worked and I had the computer quite a while, I decided to do a complete new Windows installation but the problem was still there. This problem occurs in The British Newspaper Archive website, Newspapers At Ancestry website and Ancestry.co.uk, this problem does not occur using any other browers. I can open the same webpage in both Windows Edge and Duck Duck Go browsers and the issue is not there. So, that suggests to me that the issue is in the Firefox Browser itself. I have tried opening the webpage in the Firefox troubleshoot mode, and the issue then disappears, but then as I re-open Firefox normally, the issue returns. I would appreciate any assistance you can give me to resolve this issue. Thanks.

Firefox is using too much of my Pcs proccessing power and causing my pc to freeze. The videos Im watching and twitch will just freeze then I have to hard reset my pc because the windows option to shut down or restart will do nothing. Even when I hit window+ctrl+shift+b to reset my graphics card it does nothing. please help me or I will have to stop using firefox which Ive been using for 20 years.

Hello I have an application that shows forms where the input fields are inserted on table columns. When the column contains two fields sometimes the second field is showed not in the same line.

It must be said that the second field is added after the creation of the form.

Whit Chrome and Edge the form is showed correctly. At thislink the behavior can be seen. Thanks

When attempting to pay for online purchases the new firefox upgrade (Mac 133.0.3) will not redirect from the merchant to the payment site. Yesterday, before the upgrade, was no problem making credit card purchases online; now, nothing. Please advise on how to set up new firefox version to allow redirect to payment websites from merchant sites.

For the last several days, YouTube has been increasingly unusable. The most obvious hindrance is when playing/pausing a video, or attempting to adjust volume using the native control overlay on any video. It lags substantially, my cursor often disappearing entirely & attempting to pause or resume playback takes several seconds.

Using Firefox's task manager, YouTube is monopolizing roughly 2-3 GB of RAM when playback is paused, and CPU consumption will range from 0-95% - when playing a video/utilizing the tab, it tends to stay reliably closer to 50-100%. I have also run Firefox Profiler while resuming and pausing a video, which is here: Profiler Data. I am not particularly literate with this kind of data though, so I have no comment on its contents.

My extensions, by comparison, average roughly 500 MB and no more than 1% CPU utilization at any given time. I do use uBlock Origin, as well as Tab Session Manager, cookies.txt, Honey, Fakespot, Ruffle, and TWP.

I am sure this is far more of a YouTube problem than a Firefox problem, but are there solutions available? I have seen discussions on other platforms regarding the issue, but it seems like solutions are in short supply - telling YouTube to bias in favor of AV1/VP9 had no impact, and I'm hesitant to download more extensions to attempt to bandaid the issue.

I no longer have my firefox homepage, with news, weather, mail etc using my.yahoo.com My wife's disappeared from her account as well. What can I do?

I use FF on desktop. Recently, I've run into a problem. My desktop browser will not load any pages... except Youtube. Youtube loads just fine, I can open a video or browse channels or community pages normally. I have fully reset my browser, reinstalled it, and disabled extensions. Other browsers on my PC will work normally. I have very few extensions: Sponsorblock for Youtube, uBlock Origin, and Facebook Container, that's it. I am not using a proxy or VPN. Troubleshoot mode did not fix the issue. I'm not the most tech savvy, so I apologize if I missed anything here.

I'm trying to set up Firefox on a new Chromebook and running into several problems. 1) when I attempt to sync and save data, the camera option says no camera. The email option says address not found. 2) Same problem with the Firefox Help link - address not found. 3) Under the Setting menu, I don't see anything that would allow me to load in Safe mode

Firefox seems to run slow. I rebooted my new Windows 11 computer (Dell Inspiron 16, Intel Core 11), opened up Task Manager, then opened Firefox. I have one browser page open with one Firefox tab, yet the Task Manager is appearing to tell me there are 9 Firefox "pages" (?) open; see attached image. What is this? Why is this? Is it slowing performance? I have run Firefox for several years and would like to keep doing so; just not sure I can deal with the slow performance. Thank you for your consideration & assistance.

Why on gods green earth did you put this sidebar in now?? Appears with the update, not needed, interferes with the picture. Just what an inane thing to do. Now would someone please tell me how to remove it please. Or do I have to hire an engineer? This was totally unneeded.

I have used Firefox for as long as I can remember and have always been pleased with it in fact it was my favorite browser until now. I have been playing War of Kings for several years now but for the last few weeks it takes forever to load and takes forever to get around in the game.I have several browsers and FireFox is the only one creating this problem . I can no longer use Firefox and I really hate that.Can some one look into this and let me know it can be fixed.You can reach me at b_conlee@bellsouth.net
