Performance was already poor in v115, but has gotten much worse since upgrading to 128.5. This is a documented bug: https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1906482 Are there any known workarounds? If not, how can I downgrade with losing all of my settings? I have 7 e-mail accounts and a few calendar accounts set up. This took a lot of time, since several of them require app-specific passwords. Thunderbird complains if I try to open a profile from a newer version in an older version of the software. How can I do this safely?

I have had an update to my hp laptop and now find that my thunderbird email on my laptop and phone are asking for a password. This has not been the case in the past. Would you please help me resolve this issue? Thanks

Getting a "false" error message when saving to Sent mail folder in Gmail.   TB is giving a "Your message was sent but a copy was not saved in your sent folder........"  (see attached).   

When going to Gmail on Chrome, I see that the messages have indeed been saved.

I am using IMAP, and the SENT frolder on Gmail has been selected.

Hi, I Changed IMAP to POP3, rebuilt Inbox.MSF and it worked for a few hours. Now, I cannot get control of the Thunderbird screen (it is grayed out and "the wheel is turning") I've also tried to Shift click to start Thunderbird in Troubleshoot mode and checked both boxes. (I get control for approximately 15 seconds). I am running Windows 11 with 64 Gb of RAM and enough disk space. What should I do now?

BTW, I am an I/T professional, so you may use jargon in your response.

Good morning, I had asked a question early on Saturday, but was unavailable the rest of the weekend so just now responding to associate Corey Bryan's answer. I had gotten a message that I am using an unsupported version and they recommend downloading the latest stable version. He said it appears that I'm on the "Release" channel and most likely want to be on the ESR channel. I also mentioned that I am a cave-man when it comes to anything computer and am very skittish about making any changes as I don't how to straighten out any errors that might occur. He asked me where I installed Thunderbird from and the answer is that I don't know. It was an IT guy that did it many years ago. So I guess my questions are, if I've been using this version for years, do I need to or should I update it? If so, if I click on the latest stable version of Thunderbird, will that change anything on my computer, aside from getting the newer version of T-Bird? And will my e-mails in Thunderbird look any different? Thanks very much for the help. Tony

I use Thunderbird with my Hotmail mailbox. Sometimes the body of a message is missing. I just have a serial number like this "--0000000000003fb6ca0619db6a84--" When I connect directly to Hotmail via the web. I can see the body. Curious, isn't it ??

I use Thunderbird for email, when on MX Linux I use the Flatpack version. I've noticed that the Thunderbird configuration frequently resets itself, from using local folders on an adjacent disk, to a location within the Flatpack.

I know when this happens because I can then no longer send emails; I have to copy any text written, enter setup, re-select the desired folder, and re-start Thunderbird.

Can you please help with a fix for this issue?

Updated Firefox and all my bookmarks are gone. I tried to follow the directions but could not figure out how to get the bookmarks restored. Please help with simple instructions.

For the last few days when I am on the web using Firefox, my android screen is displaying large print - like it is zoomed in. There is no way to fix this. Assuming this is a result of your last fix/update. This needs to be addressed. This is not an issue with any other browser

My Firefox for Android has gone nuts. Everything shows in tiny fonts and all formatting has been lost. By that I mean that entire web pages are now showing where previously only pertinent sections were showing.

I've attached a screen shot of my Yahoo email page. Previously only the inbox showed with 20 emails to a page. Now the whole page shows. I have no idea what changed, or what I inadvertently changed, to get this result.

Why autofill option is showing all passwords that match domain.com instead of url panel.domain.com ? If url was also visible in autofill there would be no problem.

The task is to put a company logo icon instead of a folder icon, how to change the icon image for mail folders in Thunderbird? I read the topic https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/1305856 and did as it says, created userChrome.css and toolkit.legacyUserProfileCustomizations.stylesheet changed 'True'. but no changes happened. specialFolder or localFolder both is okey. Version 128.5.0esr (64-bit)
