When I start Firefox, it auto-reloads / refreshes a page when I click its tab. There are times when I find out I don't have an internet connection available and I can't read the pages because of the auto-reload. I want Firefox to not refresh pages ever, unless I press the refresh button. Don't tell me to save pages everytime I exit Firefox, cause I keep open like 20 tabs at all times. Next time I start Firefox they are there as if I didn't exit, which is good. But it gets wits-terminating when I start Firefox offline. I don't even have hairs to pull left, I'm bald. So, please tell me:

Is it possible? If not, what workarounds exist? (Besides using other browsers)

"Work offline" is useless as it isn't there for viewing pages offline as one might suspect, but it was created having in mind not to access the internet; but if you click a tab it still tries to access the internet!! And returns an error saying you can't _reload_; but who ever tries to reload a page working offline?! I only want to view it. Unrefreshed. Not to mention "work offline" gets reset when restarting Firefox...

"Offline mode Firefox is currently in offline mode and can't browse the Web. Press "Try Again" to switch to online mode and reload the page."

Is the disk cache enabled and working if you check that on the about:cache page?
