Seit kurzer Zeit verschwinden in Thunderbird alle Emailbeiträge wenn man eine der Emails löscht. Erst wenn man Thunderbird neu öffnet sind die einträge wieder vorhanden. Gibt es dazu eine Lösung?

Recently, all email posts in Thunderbird disappear when you delete one of the emails. Only when you reopen Thunderbird are the entries available again. Is there a solution to this?

Fora number of weeks, i have been unable to send emails. The problem just appeared suddenly and does not appear related to any updates or my security settings. When trying to send, i get an error message: "Sending of the message failed. An error occurred while sending mail. The mail server responded: <unknown{202.172.111.110}>: Client host rejected: Access denied. Please check the message recipient "xxx@xxx.com" and try again."

I have seen others with the same issue, but no replies with a fix. Thanks

J'ai Thunderbird sur un autre ordinateur qui lui n'a pas besoin de recharger les emails a chaque lancement. There is a note at the bottom of the email that says: A unique identity matching the From address was not found. The message will be sent using the current From field and setting from identity Vince Hunter < omni232@telus.net> Can you give me instructions in laymans terms to fix this bug and return it back to the way it was?

When I run Thunderbird, it automatically downloads my new e-mails. Every time I launch the program, it gets stuck on the next to last e-mail (i.e.- the display shows 8 of 9) and hangs for several seconds, during which I can't use the program at all. Is there a fix for this? I turned off junk mail scanning.

I am running ver 128.5.2 esr 64 bit on Windows 11. When I open Tbird, it takes at least 2 minutes to load messages. When i do as mass delete, it goes really slow also. I get a repetition of numerous mail titles across the top of the page when the messages are finally loaded, and they are old messages. How do I get rid of them? All of this has happened after the new version of Tbird was installed. Previously, everything I mentioned above was very fast.

They all pretend to be from Best Buy/Geeksquad. They all have Click buttons with the SCAMMER website rxvtom<>.com within the email. Block this Junk, please, before any more people get hurt

In my Google calendar, I have the automatic birthday calendar. The birthdays of people in my (Google) contact list will appear in my calendar. See the first attached image.

In Thunderbird, I have subscribed to my Google calendar (and Google contacts), but birthdays are duplicated in my Thunderbird (Google) calendar. See the second attached image. One birthday appears to be originating from the Google birthday (red) calendar, and one from my main/personal Google (green) calendar (which has two icons that I don't know the meaning of).

Why are birthdays being duplicated in Thunderbird?

In Thunderbird, I can resolve the issue by unchecking the option to 'Sync from <email address>' in the settings for the birthday calendar in my Google account. See the third attached image. This solves the problem for Thunderbird; see the fourth attached image. But then in my Google calendar, birthdays disappear. See the fifth attached image.

Is there a solution that allows the birthdays calendar to be synced correctly in both Google and Thunderbird without showing duplicates and without disappearing?

Recently, I set up two-step verification on my Microsoft account. Since my e-mail server is not connected to Microsoft, I was able to continue using Thunderbird without issue. However, after having signed in to my Xbox account after not accessing it for several months, I became unable to login to my e-mail server, as it failed to accept my password or any other I put in.

After searching for solutions, the general consensus I found was that Thunderbird was attempting to connect to Microsoft's servers, but couldn't because its authentication method was set to 'Normal Password'. I've tried changing my authentication method, but changing my authentication method to anything other than 'Normal Password' gives me a 'Your e-mail provider does not support this authentication method' message.

I've had this problem before (see https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/1432194), which happened after I set up two-step verification initially, but i don't know how I solved the problem before, and obviously it wasn't a permanent solution.

What I find strange is that, since I don't use an Outlook account, this issue either shouldn't be happening at all, or I shouldn't have been able to regain access in the first place.

I'm not sure what to do next. Since my provider apparently doesn't support OAuth2, is there anything I can do about this, or am I pretty much sunk? Any help would be appreciated.

Specs: E-mail provider: Spectrum (Listed as "Roadrunner/TWC") E-mail server: mail.twc.com, IMAP, SSL/TLS, Port 993, Normal Password Outgoing server: mail.twc.com, IMAP, STARTTLS, Port 587, Normal Password ISP Provider: Charter Communications OS: Windows 10 Thunderbird version: 128

On Dec 3 2024 imap.comcast.net deleted my Inbox and all it's subfolders for some unknown reason. It was never fully recovered, but most of the sub folders were recovered and exist at imap.comcast.net with the original content. Thunderbird does not show these sub folders under it's Inbox, any idea why? Anyway, since then, thunderbird Inbox will not allow me to create a folder that has a name listed in the imap.comcast.net list of sub folders. any idea why that is. Some emails in inbox does not opening; even in Troubleshooting mode... cannot be deleted / moved etc... even I restart Thunderbird many times result is same... recently it happened again and I was able to remove by chance (I tried moved, delete, restart etc..). but then some folders are got empty and hundreds of emails are lost... I can only mark as read - unread only.

I was using Thunderbird for Windows 10 normally for many months. Recently, whenever I launch the app it immediately freezes, and I have to force quit the application. Reinstalling the app does not fix the issue. I haven't tried deleting my profiles yet, but I would like to avoid that if possible.
