"For security reasons, your account has limited access to the site for a few days. If you have any questions, please contact our Help centre". This is a warning I get when i try posting something in facebook, since friday.
I've not changed anything in my settings in firefox OR facebook. Also, I tried facebook via IE and I have no problems there whatsoever. Can anyone help me find out what this is and how to fix it, I don't want to use IE! I also tried accessing facebook with Chrome, but in there when I tried logging in I got a warning that my computer seemed to be infected and that my account was blocked for a day to make sure it was ok. Needless to say that I performed a security check on my computer to see if anything has slipped past my always working firewall, and no there was nothing to find. I am using the newest versions of all 3 browsers, nothing changed specifically on friday.

You are actually running an older version of Firefox (8). You should update to Firefox 9.0.1 and see if that helps
Do a malware check with some malware scanning programs on the Windows computer.
You need to scan with all programs because each program detects different malware.
Make sure that you update each program to get the latest version of their databases before doing a scan.

Also make sure that your security software isn't blocking or corrupting cookies.
Clear the cache and the cookies from sites that cause problems.
"Clear the Cache":
- Tools > Options > Advanced > Network > Offline Storage (Cache): "Clear Now"
"Remove Cookies" from sites causing problems:

Very strange that Firefox didn't update to the next version, but I fixed it manually. It didn't help tho :-(
I did all of the above. Computer has been clicking for hours to scan. Nothing noteworthy has been found. I deleted the cookies and recent history in firefox. After that I tried logging into facebook, but i got a notification that my account has been blocked because of malware.
But my account has NOT been blocked, because when I start up IE I can get access to facebook and I can post anything I want in abundance. My account has been blocked on firefox, so the problem must be in firefox itself. Is there a change in firefox since friday, or is there a change in facebook since friday which can cause this problem?
