After downloading firefox 7, I can no longer watch the videos attached to websites such as news organizations, recipe instructions

After downloading firefox 7, I can no longer watch videos from websites such as news organizations. the videos either do not load or start to play for a few seconds, then stop.

Start Firefox in Diagnose Firefox issues using Troubleshoot Mode to check if one of the extensions or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox (Tools) > Add-ons > Appearance/Themes).
