How do I show a list of ALL of my tabs in ALL of my windows?
I tend to have a lot of windows open, each with a lot of tabs. I can click on the list of my Firefox windows at the bottom of the screen, but it shows only a list of windows with the last tab I viewed in each window. As a result, I may recall that I have a tab somewhere that I want to access, but it takes too long to go to each window and look at the tabs. I would like to be able to call up a list of all of my windows, each showing all of the tabs under that window. Is that possible? I have this problem under Windows XP. It may apply to Firefox under Ubuntu 10.04, but I haven't had that many windows and tabs open to know if it is a problem under Ubuntu.

This isn't possible in default Firefox, and not even in the upcoming Firefox 4 (that has Tab Sets already in the prebuilds of beta 4). I understand this is a big deal (Tab Sets in Firefox 4 will have a tab search feature, which should help things a bit) for users with many tabs on many windows, so I believe there should be some extension that helps cases like yours. Feel free to look for one at addons.mozilla.org.
