I retired from a job with a school district and had a school district email account/address. After retirement, anticipating that my school district email account would be deleted, I created a Thunderbird account and downloaded all my messages. Unfortunately, I used created my account with my school district email address. Months later, when I went back to look at them, I tried to log in under the school district address, and got a message from Thunderbird that the account did not exist. I called the school district and they told me they had deleted the account. I am 100 % sure the messages were downloaded to Thunderbird, so I am confident they exist, but I can't access them because they are attached to the deleted school district account. How can I get access to the messages? Is there a work around? If I ask the school district to temporarily reinstate my account might that work. Other ways? Grateful for any help that can be provided. Thank you. Marty

If you created a POP account and downloaded the messages, they would still be there even if the account no longer works. Can you do a screenshot of what you see on the account?
