Email selected is not the email displayed in the preview box below...why?
I keep having the following issue:
When synchronizing (download) emails, at random it seems, groups of emails will display the subject, header etc of a completely different email. I've tried synchronize the emails again, deleting then trying again but still no change.
I will upload some screen shot examples too....thank you for any help!
Thanks for any help....

Please note the pane you are talking about is called the 'Message Pane'. When you select an email, it is opened and will display in the 'Message Pane'. I'm mentioning this just in case you were not aware that there is no such thing as a 'preview'.
It sounds like the index is out of synch with list of emails.
- Right click on folder eg: 'Inbox' and select 'Properties'
- click on 'Repair Folder'
- click on 'OK'
Advise that you compact your folders on a regular basis to remove all old traces of moved/deleted emails. This is particulary important for Inbox, Drafts and Junk/Spam as those folders usually have more moving/deleting of emails in general than other folders.
Since Thunderbird updated automatically to 102.5.0, I began experiencing a similar issue.
The difference I had was only my POP accounts (port: 995) would not display previews of messages. However, my my IMAP accounts (port: 993) previewed my email messages just fine...
So, I did a restart of Thunderbird and now I have my previews back! Yeah! Most certainly very concerning at the time.
