This is an annoying, but kinda funny, problem. Every time I try getting to a website that starts with "gen", I get this url, gentlemansgazette.com that shows up. I've tried "shift + del", I've removed it from my history. It isn't book marked. It keeps popping up and it's incredibly annoying.
Can someone here tell me how to fix this? It's above "suggestions" so its not a part of that, I don't think. I did include a screenshot but I'm not sure if its going to show.
Thank you!

Does that item have a special badge attached to the favicon in the location/address bar drop-down list to distinguish it from a normal history item ?
Did you try "Forget About This Site" on a history item (you may have to visit this website) ?

I just followed your suggestion. Unfortunately, it didn't work.
If you use Sync then best is to disconnect Sync temporarily during troubleshooting.
This could be a problem with the places.sqlite file in the Firefox profile folder.
You can rename/remove all places.sqlite file in the Firefox profile folder with Firefox closed. Firefox will rebuild places.sqlite and restore the bookmarks from the most recent JSON backup in the bookmarkbackups folder.
- keep a backup copy of places.sqlite in case a new places.sqlite database has to be created
- you lose the history when a new places.sqlite is created

You can use the button on the "Help -> More Troubleshooting Information" (about:support) page to go to the current Firefox profile folder or use the about:profiles page (Root directory).
