New Outlook Dec 23 2016 won't open with Firefox but is OK on IE
I open my e-mail using https://login.live.com/login. Used to work fine until Dec 24, 2016. Now all I get is a blue banner at top and the word OUTLOOK. Nothing else happens. Same URL works fine in IE.

Try using just https://login.live.com and after you are logged in, save the address as a bookmark.
The URL you suggested gets me to the main Microsoft account page, after entering my username and password. On that page I found "Looking for your Microsoft email? followed by a link "view inbox". Clicking that gets me to the same hang up page I described earlier.

I could not get Advanced button to repond, maybe some kind of administator privileges are required (I'm on my own PC however).
Anyway I solved the original problem by using the Refresh option in Firefox. Now the Outlook site and inbox opens as it should.
That was very good work. Well done. Please flag your last post as Solved Problem so others will know.
