These instructions work on Windows 10. For Windows 7, third-party language packs might be available.

  1. Open the Settings App.
  2. Select Time & Language.
  3. Select Region & Language.
  4. Press Add a language
  5. Select a language.
  6. The language should appear in your list. Press the "Options" button for a new language.
  7. In the "Language options" panel there should be a "Speech" section with a "Download" button under it, press it.
  8. Restart Firefox.
  9. Firefox will prompt you for the localized voice when you select Narrate in Reader View. Select the voice you've just added.
