Thunderbird just did an automated update and now I can't send emails because I am told:

Sending of the message failed. The message could not be sent using Outgoing server (SMTP) secure244.sgcpanel.com for an unknown reason. Please verify that your Outgoing server (SMTP) settings are correct and try again.

I have gone through the server settings on a 55 minute chat with siteground and everything is fine from their end and with my settings, but it still won't connect. It was working just fine before the security update, then nothing. I disabled Norton and that did nothing. I am able to receive emails, but not send them. I can send through my webmail so it's not with the server...

We went through various ports, server setting, and authentication and nothing is working. Like I said, it was fine all day.. then an update... then blammo.
