Why Mozilla's Firefox plug-ins keep crashing?
Mozilla's plug-ins have crashed 4 times within the hour today. My Java is up to date. My Adobe Flash Player is up to date. My Shockwave is up to date. Why do Mozilla keep crashing? It's suppose to be up to date but something is constantly causing this to crash. My Mozilla keeps crashing on a daily basis. It wasn't doing so until the past 3 updates. After those updates some of my add-ons have been disabled which weren't before these updates. If nothing is broke then don't fix it. These so-called Mozilla Firefox updates are killing me when I'm getting constant crashes daily.

If you have submitted crash reports then please post the IDs of one or more recent crash reports that have a "bp-" prefix:
- bp-xxxxxxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxxxxxxxxxx
You can find the Report ID of recent crash reports on the "Help > Troubleshooting Information" page (about:support).
- Click the "All Crash Reports" button on this page to open the about:crashes page and see all crash reports.
If necessary then you can open about: pages via the location/address bar.
See:

I keep 'sending' crash reports and Mozilla keeps 'crashing'. I'm now having trouble viewing movies and TV shows. I can't watch any w/o Mozilla crashing. If I could downgrade to where Mozilla wasn't crashing daily I would.
Please tell us the crash report numbers. Without them our help is limited.

Having more than one version of a program may cause issues.
Grab the uninstaller from here: Uninstall Flash Player | Windows Uninstall Flash Player | Mac Then reinstall the latest version.

When you say crash report numbers what do you mean? Do you mean how many times it crashed or something else?
I didn't know I had Adobe Shockwave for Director Netscape plug-in, version 12.1.7.157 Adobe Shockwave for Director Netscape plug-in, version 12.0.4.144.
How is it that you know and I don't?
I have done the steps mentioned in uninstalling and re-installing Adobe Flash.
Now I have to see about the last to see if this will solve my plug-in crash problems.
There is a watch dog program that watches Firefox, and if there is a crash, it will send a report to the Mozilla servers for the programers to look at.
When we are given the report numbers, we can look at the report and see what was going on at the time.
In the address bar, type about:crashes<enter>. Note: If any reports do not have BP in front of the numbers, click it and select Submit.
Using your mouse, mark the most resent 7 - 10 crash reports, and copy them. Now go to the reply box below and paste them in.

You repeated this like I understand what you meant which I guess I didn't. What do you mean 'mark most resent 7-10 crash reports? I don't see any crash reports. I see 'Crash Threads' which was what I sent. Is there something else I should be looking for?
What FredMcD means is if you could post the actual IDs of one or more recent crash reports that have a "bp-" prefix:
- bp-xxxxxxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxxxxxxxxxx
You can find the Report ID of recent crash reports on the "Help > Troubleshooting Information" page (about:support).
- Click the "All Crash Reports" button on this page to open the about:crashes page and see all crash reports.
If necessary then you can open about: pages via the location/address bar. If the "bp-" prefix is missing then click its line on the about:crashes page to submit the crash report and the crash report will get a "bp-" prefix (do not add it yourself).

That report looks like an issue with the Flash plugin.
You can check for problems with current Shockwave Flash plugin versions and try this:
- check for updates for your graphics drive drivers
https://support.mozilla.org/kb/upgrade-graphics-drivers-use-hardware-acceleration - disable protected mode in the Flash plugin (Flash 11.3+ on Windows Vista and later)
- disable hardware acceleration in the Flash plugin

OK, before I do that I uninstalled all things related to video play i.e. Adobe Flash, Shockwave, Java... I uninstalled all and reinstalled Adobe Flash and Shockwave. I was able to watch two videos w/o any crashes but it did crash before I played these two. I have an appointment in the morning which I will be getting ready for so I will do these two instructions when the rest of my day is free and will inform you the diagnosis. Thank you, Mozilla team for helping this distressed person out.
Hello. The first one I checked stated it was for Windows 7. I have Windows Vista.
I also had an update but it was for: Microsoft .NET Framework 4.5.2 for Windows Vista x64-based Systems (KB2901983)
I guess my question about why Mozilla keeps crashing will go unanswered. For about a month I haven't been able to watch anything w/o Mozilla telling me the plug-in has stopped unexpectedly. I keep sending reports but for what?? Will this ever get fixed?? Today it has taken me over two hours to watch a 42 minute show because of the constant crashes. These crashes are getting worse and worse!!! Even on Youtube. If I stay on that site w/o watching anything Mozilla will give the infamous 'plug-in has stopped unexpectedly' message and will close me out.
My internet has crashed more than this. I just usually end the program before I receive the dreaded message.

You can try to disable hardware acceleration in Firefox.
- Tools > Options > Advanced > General > Browsing: "Use hardware acceleration when available"
You need to close and restart Firefox after toggling this setting.

You did not say you were having crashes.
Crash reports go to the Mozilla servers for the techs to look at. If you want information about a crash, you have to post the reports here.

I did mention I was having internet crashes. I didn't report them until it started happening frequently throughout the day hence my posts since 4-11-15.
Also my Norton Toolbar has been disabled since the last update and can't be enabled because of an upgrade that Mozilla caused. There's nothing wrong with my Keyscrambler it's Mozilla's Plug-ins that's been giving me grief for a little over a month.

Mozilla's Plug-in container has been giving me the blues. It's something to do with that. If that's apart of the hardware acceleration then the most recent upgrade that took place is the cause. I barely had any crashes in March but I've been dealing with daily crashes from the beginning of last month till now. Mozilla crashed on me about an hour ago and I had to close out of it a few times this morning before it gave me the boot.
