It's only in the latest beta 132b5 (see picture).

Thanks for the quick reply. How can I access beta versions?

David, I am using Thunderbird desktop 128.3.2esr 64 bit up to date, and want to use it on my Android phone, as well. If I go ahead and download the desktop beta version, will all of my rules/filters transfer over, or will I lose all the work I've gone through to set up Thunderbird to my liking?

Thank you for your input. :-)

there is no desktop beta for the android, or am I misunderstanding? Anyway, the settings you use for your PC are the same ones to use on your phone. But I may be misunderstanding the question. Also, while there is a beta for Android, I have not used it.

I just reread your post and my brain kicked in... You're wanting the export feature that is in the beta. :) The beta can coexist with the release version and creates its own profile. you could then exit thunderbird and copy the contents of the release level to the beta profile and after checking that all is well, you could export the settings. But that can be problematic in inself. Your other option is to look at your desktop incoming settings and SMTP settings and enter those into the Android. That's a bit of detail, but it may go more smoothly than installing the beta just for the export. If you go the beta route, I encourage doing profile backup first, just for safety.

Just exported my settings from windows 11 Thunderbird 132.0 to Thunderbird for Android 8. Using the settings button on the lower left of Thunderbird 132.0 did not bring up Export to Mobile. I had to first go into the hamburger and go to the tools menu. From there i chose Export for Mobile and everything worked fine. It seems that tool moved Export for Mobile to the settings button, so after the first time the settings button on the lower left brings up Export for Mobile. To complete, I had to sign into each mail account.
