Strange stripes when watching videos with mozilla
I am having a issue when I watch any kind of flash player video (Twitch/youtube/other stuff) on mozilla firefox.

As you can see on the picture there are stripes or color differences that look like stripes in the picture. I only have this problem with mozilla video viewing and not when I use google chrome to watch youtube etc or watch through a media player like VLC. The stripes disappear if i pause the video otherwise they are always there during the video.
I have tried turning on and off hardware acceleration.

Hi, how do you know if your watching Flash or it is Coming as HTML5 Audio/Video ? As most Video is HTML5 even from Youtube. If you have Flash to Ask to Play then it is HTML5
Since no information came regarding your Video Card Drivers or your Extensions please try this : SAFE MODE
- https://support.mozilla.org/kb/Safe+Mode
- https://support.mozilla.org/kb/Troubleshooting+extensions+and+themes
In Firefox Safe mode these changes are effective:
- all extensions are disabled (about:addons)
- default theme is used (no persona)
- userChrome.css and userContent.css are ignored (chrome folder)
- default toolbar layout is used (file: localstore-safe.rdf)
- Javascript JIT compilers are disabled (prefs: javascript.options.*jit)
- hardware acceleration is disabled (Options > Advanced > General)
- plugins are not affected
- preferences are not affected
TEST''''is issue still there ?
VIDEO AUDIO
Tried in safe mode and problem is still there. I got a 1080ti card with latest drivers.
bump, yea it is HTML5.
Does it make a difference if you make the Firefox window (media player) smaller?
It is more difficult to see the stripes without full screen but they are still there.
That's odd I have GTX1060 6G and watch youtube video and have no issues with stripes or blurrs or artifacts on youtube videos. You sure it's not the card itself causing the problem. Could be related to tearing in GPU settings don't match the video streaming fps or is out of sync causing tearing in the video.

I watched recently youtube on both Chrome and FF and don't experience the problem your relating to. Also give a link without personal info so others can see if it is site or Browser related issue. Also if you answer was was your Hardware Acceleration set to?
Give a link to what ? I have this problem on ALL sites where they have any kind of video when I use mozilla not just youtube. I have all ways had hardware acceleration turned off ( tried turning it on, no difference)

HI, give this 7min fix a try : uninstall Firefox. Then Delete the Mozilla Firefox Folders in C:\Program Files , C:\Program Files(x86) & C:\ProgramData Then restart system. Then run Windows Disk Cleanup. (Note: This should be Pinned and run Weekly, If never done below expect 10's of gig's) Then run it again and click the button that says Cleanup System Files. Note: your Firefox Profile is saved. But you should make a back up before you do :

Reinstall with Current Release Firefox 61.0.1 with a Full Version Installer
Please let us know if this solved your issue or if need further assistance.
