When i came and saw on my original firefox - i lost all my bookmarks and i searched in the bookmarkbackups folders in the system folders - but no use.
Kindly help me to get the my bookmarks- as i had so many urls saved in it.

Hi
Thank you for your question about the Firefox Sync service.
It appears from your question, that you are using Firefox Sync as a back up service. This is not what Sync is designed to do. The Firefox Sync service takes a copy of the data you wish to include and transfers it to a second device (typically a mobile device such as a tablet or a telephone) running a copy of Firefox. The storage in between all attached devices is both temporary and fragile and is not stable enough to be (and is not designed as) a reliable backup service.
If you have a copy of your Firefox profile for desktop Firefox, you may be able to recover your bookmarks and other data. Please have a read of this article.
If you have a copy of your data on a mobile version of Firefox, please follow these instructions to connect it to Firefox Sync to copy your data.
Hi Santhosh, when you check the Restore menu in your original Firefox, does it show any of the earlier backups? I mean the menu described in the following article:
Restore bookmarks from backup or move them to another computer
How far back to the files go?
Yes, i do find the bookmarkbackup folder however 1.Jun1st and 2nd May23rd, but it(May23rd) doesnt have the my bookmark list.,
May18th i logged in my system and synced the/saved the bookmarks.
May25th i logged in other system and try to sync but had got the problem and unistalled it ( FYI - during this process my original system was offline/in shout down mode)
May 28th when i came and check my original system all my bookmarks unavailable.
Hi, I meant the Restore menu in the Library window in Firefox. Does it exactly match the selection of files in the folder?
Usually Firefox saves way more than 3 files, so I'm not sure where May 18th-22nd went, unless you were not using Firefox enough for Firefox to save a backup until the 23rd. Were you using Firefox during that time?
First i want to clear that - my personal system which has all bookmarks and working fine and i was happy (during the 17th May week) .
But on May 25th when i tried to install and tried to sync bookmarks in other system which got error and not able to access the firefox - hence uninstalled from that system and not i dont have access to the other system.
Now, i want my bookmarks back in my personal system.
Added the image from the bookmarksbackup.
The file name has the item count after the date: 11. So yes, nothing useful in those two files.
Could you check whether your bookmarks are available in a different profile, as follows:
Old Firefox Data
If Firefox performed a Refresh, your old profile folder (with its own bookmarkbackups folder) will be on your Windows desktop inside a folder named Old Firefox Data. Anything like that?
Profile Manager Page
Inside Firefox, type or paste about:profiles in the address bar and press Enter/Return to load it.
This page should list at least one profile and could list many. (Each profile has two folders and one or more buttons. Do not use any Remove buttons!)
The profile that Firefox is currently using will have this:
This is the profile in use and it cannot be deleted.
Do you have any other profiles listed on this page? If so, you can check whether one of those is the one you were using recently by clicking its Launch profile in new browser button.
If it isn't what you want, simply close that new window.
If it IS what you want, back on the about:profiles page, click the Set as default profile button for that profile so Firefox uses it automatically at the next startup.
Any progress so far?
