firefox 89 - broken "view bookmark tables on new tab only"

more options

Hi,

Am I the only one plagued with an issue about the option "View" > "Toolbars" > "Bookmarks Toolbar" > "Only Show on new Tab" ?

It finally used to work until version 88

(prior to that I had to use custom css tricks)

With 89, it does not work anymore

Chosen solution

It should show when you use the built-in "Firefox Home" page as your new tab page. It doesn't show when you switch that to a blank page. Or, presumably, if you change it using an add-on.

If yours doesn't work even with the built-in new tab page, that sounds like a bug.

Hm. I had to double check : depending on several profiles. I do use "Firefox Home" (but I un-ticked all so it displays itself like a blank page. That's why I had doubts).

You're right : using "Firefox Home" works fine.

On the test profile I had "blank page"

thank you!
