Add-ons
I am a long-time Firefox user. I hope the new Firefox 57 is easier on memory than prior versions (disastrous, horrific).
However, I refuse to update until I can be sure that my add-ons will work.
Example: Videodownloadhelper -- a MUST HAVE for my work! I know the developer is working on it, but until complete, no Firefox 57 for me.
I'll use other browsers and whip-out FFx 56.0.2 for limited periods -- usually about 5 minutes before it grinds my PC to a halt!

Hello, VideoDownloadHelper was updated 23 days ago, and it is compatible with Firefox 57 as of that time, however not all of its features have been ported yet, rest assured this add-on will in fact work on FF57. You can get the new version from here: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/video-downloadhelper/
To find replacements for your other add-ons: https://mozilla.github.io/extension-finder/

Thank you, but your response is substandard. Here's why:
- The VDH developer, Mig, acknowledges that the current state of the software is substandard -- ex: not all features, have to download a second app, doesn't always work, etc.
- Read the comments from users! App has fallen off the table with the new Firefox. It never worked well in Chrome, so the FFx version is IT!
I have been using VDH for years, but I don't dare upgrade to the new Firefox UNTIL VDH works. Simple as that.
It's being worked on, but its just not completely ready yet.
