Links in pinned tabs destroyed by public wireless

I like keeping many pinned tabs instead of using bookmarks - that way they're in my sight and it ensures I get back to them. I know pinned tabs are saved with their history and I can click "back" on any of them to go into what was open before, even if I've closed my browser and re-opened it. After using EuroTunnel free wireless, half of my pinned tabs (which it failed to open, but I didn't care at the time) show "EuroTunnel" logo and the url to it in the link bar, there is no "back" option (it's greyed out) in them, and it means I have lost many of my saved links, which were there for a reason, and now I can't remember what all of them were! It's not in history, because re-opened pinned tabs don't count as "recently opened" and will only appear when they were initially opened, which can be hundreds of links ago, my history is too rich to search when I don't know what I'm searching for. Is there any way to restore what was there before the EuroTunnel wi-fi failed to open it and took over instead?

You could try if you can restore a previous version of the sessionstore.js file.
