Why are apostrophes missing in my e-mails and being replaced with a square with the number 92 inside the square?
This is happening in my e-mails daily. Where there should be an apostrophe it is replaced with a square containing 2 zero's at the top half and the number 92 at the bottom half. can you tell me what is causing this?

This may be related to the character encoding used to display the message. If you check the View menu, you can see whether it is set to Unicode or another setting. It may not be obvious which is best unless you try switching around.
PLEASE SAVE ANY WORK before switching the view, as the page will reload.
View menu > Character Encoding > look for the blue dot
You may want to try Unicode (UTF-8), Western (ISO-8859-1) and Western (Windows-1252). If all of those have the same problem, then the apostrophes in the message may have been mistakenly converted at an earlier stage.
Any progress so far??
If you notice the problems from one particular sender, it could be the software they use to compose the message is inserting special symbols that do not exist in normal fonts.
